King Dubbist Records reveals today to the world it's latest creation, the label first and long awaited LP called " Zacharri & Roommate : Rootstep". It is available from today at the King Dubbist Store and in all the main digital stores. And as you might know,  we love vinyl, so alongside the digital version we have scheduled the release of Rootstep in vinyl to come very shortly.

Rootstep includes 12 Tracks performed by the reggae/roots chanter Zacharri, on dub heavy bass style riddims produced by the label co-owner Roommate, and combines some elements of roots reggae with a twist of of dubstep and dancehall flavour. The album will include the previously released hit singles “Jah Rule” and “ Gather your Strength” and also some exclusive collaboration with veteran Jamaican artists such Susan Cadogan, Jr. Kelly and Chezidek. 

Zacharri ( Bogle Broadie ) is fast estabilshing his name as one of Jamaica's rising Roots Reggae stars. His fresh unique Singjayvocal style and steadfast concious and spiritually rooted lyrics helped to secure his name to the forefront of the international Reggae scene.He brings Roots Reggae's peaceful message as a positive way of life, talking about righteousness, straight to the people's heart.

San Francisco based artist Roommate ( Justin McCauley ) has a musical career that can be described as prolfic and ever changing. His tireless efforts in both production and DJ'ing have currently brought him to the forefront of the worldwide bass music community. With over a decade of solid DJ'ing experience and coutless original production releases, Roommate has secured himself a spot on the international bass music.
